Stomio is located north of Chrysoskalitissa monastery and in the wider area of Elafonissi and Kedrosasos. Stomio, translates to mouth and refers to the mouth of the river originating from the village Vathi which exits at this point.

This beach is easily accessible as it is right on the road.

Although easy to access is one of those beaches that visitor don’t prefer due to the rocky nature and the lack of amenities. On top of that the location most of the time has waves. Nevertheless this is a good spot /stop for those that want a quiet place to relax.

Near the beach you will have the opportunity to see the old plaster factory, which is nowadays abandoned. There is also the small church of St. Theodori.
